The submission site for Online Conference Papers is now closed. We want to thank all of the authors who submitted 680 papers. The final programme will be published in July. Stay tuned.

We have prepared a few pages with information and resources for participants and for heads of sections and working groups as they prepare for IAMCR’s online conference and especially for Online Conference Papers and Online Sessions.

IAMCR 2020 Programme

The IAMCR 2020 online conference will begin on 12 July with an opening plenary with welcoming words from IAMCR's Executive Board and the conference host, Tampere University, plus keynote speakers reflecting on the conference theme. Following that will be the launch of IAMCR Online Conference Papers. A series of Online Sessions and Plenaries will be streamed throughout the week until the closing, on 17 July. Papers and videos will remain online and accessible until 12 September.

IAMCR 2020 Awards

IAMCR will make several awards and grants available to members in 2020. To accommodate the new schedule of the online IAMCR conference, the deadline to apply for the Prize in Memory of Dallas Smythe and the UCF/IAMCR Urban Communication Research Grant has been extended to 30 April 2020.
